hyphen-pa software package provides Punjabi hyphenation patterns for OpenOffice.org/LibreOffice, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install hyphen-pa
hyphen-pa is installed in your system.
Make ensure the hyphen-pa package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep hyphen-pa *
You will get with hyphen-pa package name, version, architecture and description in a table
